Store Associate
$19/hour, part-time (12-15 hours per week)

Kloud K-Pop is looking for 2-3 new team members to join our staff as Store Associates!

The Store Associate will be in charge of:

  • working during Kloud K-Pop’s store hours as cashier
  • answering questions about albums, orders, and other store information
  • assisting all customers that come into the store and providing a supportive, positive environment

Outside of store hours, the Store Associate may also be asked to assist with store upkeep (cleaning, stocking and counting inventory, organizing shelves, etc.). There may also be opportunities to assist at events such as cupsleeve events, conventions, and fansigns. The Store Associate will be directly managed by the Lead Manager and store owners.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old at time of application
  • Passion for K-Pop music and Korean culture, with interest in staying up to date with the latest K-Pop comebacks and other updates
  • Willingness to assist at exclusive events such as conventions, community events, and fansigns
  • Must have reliable transportation and ability to commute to our San Jose store location
  • Must be able to start in April 2025 (as soon as possible) 
  • Must be able to work 12-15 hours per week during Kloud store hours (staffers will have scheduled 4.5-hour store shifts between Thursday-Sunday, 11am-7pm, and occasional office hours pending availability on Monday-Wednesday between 12pm-7pm)
  • Must be able to lift at least 20lbs
  • Able to stand for periods of time during store shifts

FAQ

When are applications due?

Applications will be open through March 9. We will begin scheduling interviews for the following week and have them on a rolling basis until we complete the hiring process.

I want to apply but I can’t start working until fall or winter! Should I still apply?

Our next round of applications will most likely re-open for fall 2025! If you apply and are unable to start immediately, we may still reach out to you at a later time to see if you can work with us when you are available.
